Quick comment on Google's latest financial results

Hello AdSense

In the 2nd quarter year ending on 30th June, AdWords generated
$1.43 billion, up 58% from the same quarter a year ago and 10%
up on the first quarter this year.

The AdSense program generated $997 million. Again this is 58%
up on the same quarter last year.

68% of all AdSense income is shared with web publishers although
it is likely that some of the very large web publishers get more
than this. It is a good guideline though.

In other words, Google paid out $677 million to AdSense publishers
in the second quarter of this year – around $7.5 million every day.

And the figure is growing: up 7% since last quarter.

If you want more of this to go into your bank account read on.

One of the best ways of increasing your share of this money is
to increase the size of your presence online by building more web
sites with more content. And if you can do so automatically using
a bit of technology, so much the better.

Last Friday I had lunch with David Watson, the designer of Website
Article Wizard
. This is the system that uses a database of articles
to build and publish unique, good quality keyword-oriented content
in minutes.

David is introducing some new features next week (all upgrades are
free) including a "Quick start wizard" that makes the whole site
creation process, including adding your AdSense publisher ID, a
breeze. New features will include drip-feeding articles to your
site and systems to publish your site overnight leaving you to
develop your sites during the day.

He also has some very smart plans that I suspect will make this
product absolutely mainstream for many publishers over the next
12 months or so. For the lastest news, see

Website Article Wizard

If you are already a big user of articles, you might also be
interested in PLRpro, a newish site that provides its members
with 440 fresh articles each month about high paying topics.

I've arranged a $5 a month discount for you and if you want to
take advantage of it, go to http://www.plrpro.com/william and
when asked, enter the coupon code "william".

With best wishes

William

PS I've also posted an article about Article Monetization on one
of my websites. You can read it here

PPS How to slash your hosting costs

When I've mentioned building an AdSense network of many sites before, I've
had a lot of questions about hosting costs. Having  looked around quite a bit,
I've found a hosting service that lets you host as many domain names as you
like for a single low monthly fee
. Low cost multiple site hosting

If you want cheap domain names, Active-Domain.com was doing them for
$3.95 (for .infos) when I last looked. Hard to beat that!

How to boost your AdSense content by 500%. Fast.

Hello AdSense

Something really neat has just happened that can boost your AdSense
income and when I explain how it works you'll see
  • why it's neat
  • why it works
Imagine taking all your web pages and blog postings and getting
them translated into a new language and then adding them back into your sites.

You end up with a lot more content which can then be found by people who
search using foreign language phrases.

It suddenly opens up the free traffic throttle which is clearly good for
your AdSense income.

To do this properly you need to provide links to the foreign language
versions of your site from your home page so that they get indexed.

But why stop at just one additional language?

1 new language boosts your content by 100%
2 new languages boost your content by 200%
5 new languages boost your content by 500%

If that sounds a bit theoretical, read on.

The neat thing that happened recently is that a new tool has just
appeared on the market that automates this for you. It works with
8 languages in total.

I've "reverse-engineered" it a little and it seems to me that it uses
Google's own translation tool to do the hard stuff but it then handles all
the new content creation and linking automatically.

What you get then is a whole new set of articles and posts which
can be found using a completely new set of search phrases, phrases
that are likely to be used by non-English internet users (assuming
your main content is in English) and there are many billions of
these, many of whom are probably fed up with the dominance of
English language sites too.

You can see an example of the tool at work if you visit the product's
sales page and actually try out an example. The translations won't be perfect
if the English is complex but for simple short sentences the translations are
generally very good.

It's a really neat idea and actually provides a better web experience too for your
visitors whilst improving your AdSense income potential at the same time.

Happy translating!

With best wishes

William

PS The other thing to think about is that what this tool generates is content
that is original
too which means less competition in the search engines.

Sorry about the short notice

Hi AdSense

So Google Checkout is out now but only in the US. Let's see if
it forces PayPal to reduce its charges...

http://www.google.com/intl/en/press/pressrel/checkout.html

I said last week that it was going to be a very busy week for AdSense
and you've probably heard enough already about AdSense Wealth Empire
and Website Article Wizard etc. And then just 2 days back I heard
about yet another news item that is important if you are a dedicated
AdSense user.

The AdSense Accelerator is opening up a further 75 places for new
subscribers after a period of some months when it was full.

So what is AdSense Accelerator?

It is a research tool that lets you find out the best keywords to
build content round. It is dynamically linked to real time bid
prices in the AdWords system so the data it delivers is up to date.

Most importantly though, it shows you which keywords are supported
by a wide range of valuable bids. If you don't have this data you
can easily find that you are getting only a few cents a time when
you might have expected dollars. (I've explained the problem in
my Special Report: How to Make High Paying Keywords work).

The new places became available about an hour ago and with only 75
available, you do need to move fast if you're interested.

Seriously, this tool is excellent if you are in to site creation
and content building. If you just use AdSense for incidental income
generation it's probably not going to suit you though.

Got to dash now 'cos the house is a tip and we have a load of people
coming to stay for the weekend....

Have a great one yourself

Cheers

William
